What is
Shea butter is extracted from the nut of the Butyrospermum parkii tree (this is why it is also known as Butyrospermum parkii butter). This ingredient is widely used in natural cosmetics and is packed with vitamins and fatty acids that are particularly beneficial for the hair and skin. It has repairing, protective, nourishing and hydrating properties.
It can be used as a beauty mask on hair or as a natural frizz-control product on dry hair, in place of mineral butters and waxes, to hold your style in place. It is extremely versatile, excellent on hair and all parts of the body that need nourishment.
How to use
Depending on the length and density of your curls, melt between 1 and 3 teaspoons in a bain marie and add to your regular styling product. Mix thoroughly and apply to hair section by section.
Ideal for thick and very dry hair, from type 3B upwards.
