Castor Oil

A very highly regarded vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the Ricinus plant and subsequently clarifying the oil by heat.

It is made up of around 90% Ricinoleic Acid, a substance used in hair products that restores the correct level of humidity of the hair, leaving it silky, soft and shiny.

Its chemical composition is similar to that of keratin, a substance found naturally in our hair, and therefore nourishes and treats dry, brittle hair with split ends or subject to treatments like bleaching and perms. It has antimycotic and antibacterial properties and can be massaged into the skin to combat dandruff caused by dry skin.

To boost growth and hydration: apply the oil directly to the scalp and hair, gently massaging in. Leave for 20-30 minutes before shampooing.

To shine/revive curls/nourish: apply a few drops of the oil to curls every day to keep your hair hydrated and looking radiant.

After styling: put a few drops in hands, rub and apply to hair to remove cast and seal styling
