Carrot Oil

Carrot oil is obtained through the extended maceration of wild carrots, which are firstly dried then left to soak in oil (specifically Sunflower oil) for a lengthy period. This slow and traditional maceration process transmits all of the carrot’s qualities to the oil. Carrot oil is therefore packed with Beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant substance, and vitamins A, C and E; the latter are essential for hair growth and thickness. It is very useful for dry and brittle hair, after exposure to the sun and salt. It can be used on dry ends or all over the hair as a restructuring mask.

As a pre-shampoo strengthening vitamin mask: apply the oil to curls before shampooing, leave in place for 30 minutes then wash.

As a protective oil against the sun, salt and chlorine: apply the oil to hair, particularly to ends, before exposure to the sun.
