The 2026 edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the world’s leading event for the professional beauty industry, has just come to a close. This year, the exhibition saw record-breaking numbers, hosting over 255,000 visitors from more than 150 countries, confirming its status as the ideal stage for those of us looking toward the future of the sector with ambition and innovation.

For I Love Riccio, our participation this year represented a fundamental turning point. It wasn’t just an occasion to celebrate our journey, but a true springboard for our global expansion project.

A Hub of connections and innovation

The days spent at the fair were an inexhaustible source of inspiration for our team. We had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse and vibrant audience: from creators and influencers who showcase curly hair excellence daily, to major cosmeceutical players and international investors.

This dialogue allowed us to confirm that the Italian “know-how” signed by I Love Riccio is now a sought-after benchmark not only in our home country but across the globe.

Beyond borders: our International Vision

Our journey beyond national borders began some time ago thanks to our multinational e-commerce platform, which daily serves customers throughout Europe. However, the coming years will mark a decisive acceleration in this internationalization process:

Destination Spain: we are proud to announce that Spain will be the hub of our next growth phase. Plans are already underway for the opening of the first I Love Riccio salon on Spanish soil, accompanied by a dedicated e-commerce portal for this market.

Widespread distribution: our goal is to make our professional products accessible everywhere. We are working on building an international distribution network that will allow our treatments to reach the best salons worldwide.

Insights from our Ceo & Founder: "Marking a new beginning"

Our CEO and Founder, Fulvio Tirrico, shared his reflections on the brand’s journey directly from the heart of Cosmoprof:

I started from a shop of only 27 square meters, and I look with pride at where we have arrived today: 13 salons in Italy — with 2 more on the way — and an e-commerce that brings our proprietary products into the homes of thousands. Today, here at Cosmoprof, we want to mark an important beginning: bringing I Love Riccio permanently to Europe.

What radically sets us apart from other companies is our ecosystem: we don’t just sell products; we live the ‘curly life’ every day in our salons. The products we manufacture are the same ones our Experts use professionally to make our clients happy. We are here at Cosmoprof with the goal of internationalizing this unique model, seeking partners who can help us export our know-how all over the world.”
